Edinburg, a place which I was planning to visit from a long time, due to various commitments I was never been to that place. Last month, some of my friends were going to Edinburg and they asked me to join me. As it was my favourite holiday destination, without any further though, I packed my bags and went to Edinburg.
Edinburg, the capital city of Scotland is a beautiful city surrounded with volcanic hills, interesting attractions, monuments, castles, churches and monuments. Some of the worth seeing places in the city are Edinburg Castle, Calton Hill, Royal Hill, St. Giles Cathedral, Magdalen Chapel, and St. Mary’s Cathedral. The city is known as the shopper’s paradise and is the home for thousands of designer stores and shopping malls. The shops are various specialist stores for jewellery, art gallery, handicraft, antique stores, clothes and gift shops. There are various small stores situated near Thistle Street Lane. St. Mary’s Street and Victoria Street are best known for antique stores where as Dindas Street is famous for clothes and accessories. When you are in the city, don’t forget to shop in these areas.
Edinburg city is having excellent transportation system including buses and train stations close to various important landmarks, tourist places and important towns. However, renting a car is the best option. There are various online car websites which offer car hire edinburgh services in and across the city. But I prefer the services of www.hirecars.co.uk as they are excellent and outstanding. I am glad that I have used these services and will be using whenever I go for a holiday.
